Using the Time Zone Calculator

The Time Zone Calculator allows you to schedule an activity based on the time zones of the participants. For example, you may have scheduled a phone call with a customer for 10:00 AM your time and want to determine the time for your customer in a different time zone.

You can also schedule an activity so it occurs at a particular time in a different time zone. For example, you want to schedule a phone call to take place at 9:00 AM in the customer's time zone and you want to determine what time to make the phone call.e zone and you want to determine what time to make the phone call.

To open the Time Zone Calculator

To compare an activity start date and time with another time zone

  1. If necessary, change the Current Time Zone date and time. Click the Date Calendar/Time button, select a date, use the drop-down arrows to select the hour, minute and AM/PM values, and then click OK.
  2. Click the Comparison Time Zone drop-down arrow, and then select the time zone you want to compare.

The Date and Time boxes display the date and time the activity will occur in the selected time zone, based on the Current Time Zone date and time.

To schedule an activity date and time based on the Comparison Time Zone

  1. Click the Comparison Time Zone drop-down arrow, and then select the time zone you want to compare.
  2. Click the Date Calendar/Time button, select a date, use the drop-down arrows to select the hour, minute and AM/PM values, and then click OK.

The date and time in the Current Time Zone section change to match the date and time selected for the Comparison time zone.

  1. Click the OK button to apply the Current Time Zone date and time settings to the activity start date and time.
