Actions that Trigger Events in Sage SalesLogix

The system administrator manages the actions that trigger events.

To use all of the Sales Processes features, you must download Sage SalesLogix Desktop Integration. You can install Sage SalesLogix Desktop Integration from the Web Client login screen.

Action Event
None This step does not contain an action.
Mail Merge Launches the screens enabling you to create a document from a template. This enables you to create a letter, fax, or e-mail. The range of choices available to you depends on the options selected by the individual who created the sales process.
Basic Script Runs the selected script from the Sales Process family.
Form Launches a Sage SalesLogix form.
Phone Call Opens the Schedule Phone Call dialog box. The range of choices available to you depends on the options selected by the individual who created the sales process.
To Do Opens the Schedule To Do dialog box. The range of choices available to you depends on the options selected by the individual who created the sales process.
Meeting Opens the Schedule Meeting dialog box. The range of choices available to you depends on the options selected by the individual who created the sales process.
Literature Request Opens the Literature Request dialog box, enabling you to submit a request for literature fulfillment.
Contact Process Opens the Schedule Process dialog box.

The system administrator can modify the Activity Types pick list to include or remove actions that trigger Sage SalesLogix events.
