Using the Ticket Comments Tab

Use the Comments text box for all internal notes, troubleshooting steps, or other important information related to the ticket.

To add internal comments to a ticket

  1. On the Ticket Detail view, click the Comments tab. If the tab is not visible, click the More Tabs tab.
  2. In the Internal Comments box, type your comments.
  3. Click the User Date Stamp button to enter your name, the date and time (according to your regional settings) of the comments.
  4. Click Save.
